Botte 13

A Merlot with an intense ruby red color and violet hues. On the nose, it reveals itself to be complex and enveloping, with aromas of ripe fruit, cherry, tamarind, licorice, and accents of cocoa and black pepper. On the palate, it is structured with firm tannins. Perfect with red meats, roasts, braised meats, and aged cheeses. Also ideal as a meditation wine.

Technical Sheet

Training System: Guyot (with a 200cm row width and 80cm plant spacing)

Vinification: The grapes, after gentle destemming, are left at 0/5°C for cold soaking. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature with skin maceration for at least 20 days.

Organoleptic Characteristics
  • Deep, dark, impenetrable ruby red color with hues ranging from violet to garnet.

  • Profumi intensi e complessi, con sentori di frutta matura, ciliegia, tamarindo e frutti di bosco, liquirizia, pepe, caffè confettura e cacao.

  • Intense and enveloping flavor, with great structure and firm but velvety tannins.
