A few days ago at Cascina Ronchetto, one of the most important moments in the winery took place: the bottling di tre delle nostre etichette – Tenore, Nadine and Matòcch.
This phase marks the final step before bottle aging and, eventually, before the wines reach your table. It is a technical process, but also a very rewarding one, as it represents the result of months of work in the vineyard and in the cellar.
How the bottling process works
The day started early in the morning, with the arrival of a specialized company equipped with dedicated machinery for bottling. This allows every phase to be carried out with precision and control, preserving the quality of the wine.
After connecting our tanks to the bottling line, we followed a specific order:
Tenoreour white wine, then Nadinethe rosé, and finally Matòcch, the red.
A continuous, precise process
Once the line is up and running, the bottles move along a conveyor belt, one by one, going through each step of the process:
- bottle sanitization, essential to ensure cleanliness and product safety
- filling, carried out with great care to preserve the wine’s characteristics
- corking
- capsuling
- labeling, which completes the process and gives each bottle its identity
Everything happens in a smooth and synchronized flow, with constant monitoring at every stage.
Once bottled, the wines are not yet ready to be released.
They will undergo several months of bottle aging,a crucial period that allows the wine to stabilize and fully express its character.
This is the final step before reaching the glass.
